Privacy

City Week has no accounts, no sign-in and no tracking. There is nothing to log in to, so there is nothing about you to keep.

What we collect

Nothing. We run no analytics, no advertising scripts and no cookies of our own. We do not know who visits, and we have no way to find out.

Your location

If you press Near me, your browser asks your permission and then gives this page your coordinates. They are used on your own device to sort the list by distance. They are never sent to us, and we have no server that could receive them.

Your last position is kept in your browser for one day so the list opens without a wait, and is discarded after that. Clearing your browser's data for this site removes it immediately.

What your browser remembers

The language you picked and your saved items are stored by your browser, on your device only. They never leave it.

Who else sees anything

The site is served by Cloudflare, which keeps ordinary server logs — an IP address, a time, a page — the way every web host does. We use them only to keep the site running.

The typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser makes a request to Google and Google sees your IP address in it.

Links to events, shops, cinemas and maps take you to other companies' sites, which have their own policies. We have no part in what happens once you leave.

Children

City Week is a public listing of what is happening in a city. It is not aimed at children and collects nothing from anyone.

Changes

If this ever stops being true — if we add a mailing list, or a way to save things across devices — this page changes first, with the date below.
